The one, the only..Shecky Greene! Its hard to imagine eBay Live in Vegas without him headlining the show.

eBay Live beckons…the siren’s song of the city that gave us Shecky Greene & Bugsy Segal is calling me. Meanwhile, megBay announces that they’ll be advertising on other web sites…in other words, they want to date around ( Google, that is). Are you using the Power Of Why in your sales copy? Phone etiquette, or lack thereof, could be costing you customers.

Goofbay is a silly enough sounding site BUT there are several very unsilly and useful tools available there that everyone should be using. Old newspapers offer a very interesting opportunity for selling, if you know what to look for….and we’ve got the site that explains it all. Perhaps your first step to an e-commerce site should be a blog…sixapart’s TypePad now offers a widget that will automatically embed your eBay listings in your blog.

An extraordinarily gifted artist not only sells her merchandise but goes into great detail on the how-to’s of doing exactly what she does…listing suppliers and even offering blueprints for you to copy. Yet another third party site offering tools that eBay, by any stretch of the imagination, should be offering themselves. LLC or Sub-S?..no matter how small your business is, there are taxing questions you need to consider.

A great little site wherein old typewriter keys & wooden bingo buttons add up to some wonderful ideas that might just inspire you. Need a laptop?…why not try Dell’s Auction page? A site that lists pricing for used musical instruments. Watermark you images easily and help deter image theft. Why simply cross-posting the same items & images from the same suppliers is a losing proposition on-line…come on, you’re smarter than that!
