Show 08-06-06: Scammer Bots, Bad eBay Categories, Feedback, Cross-Promotion Tips, On-Line Newspaper, Three Choices for Buyers, Flickr Editor, Wholesale Tea
“Scammers have turned to automated bots to create eBay accounts with positive feedback records”…this and the little buggers are still complaining about excessive shipping.
Scammers deploy bots to automatically create fraudulent buying and selling accounts. We illustrate just what one of these scammer’s auctions look like..over 1100 penny auctions (with feedback) in less than 30 days. A couple of eBay categories that simply should be abolished.
Along with all of the weeping and gnashing of teeth on the eBay boards, there appears to be several sellers who actually are thinking about what they can do to improve sales. Our apologies for a drop shipper recommendation we should have never made…and a few words on how and why drop shipping can actually work for you. A German study that states the obvious, or does it, about feedback. eBay goes even further afield by announcing a new site for ads.
Are you using the Cross-Promotion tools to their full advantage?..if not, you’re missing an easy way to network on eBay and increase your opportunity for a sale. Expand your marketing reach by publishing in an on-line newspaper. How offering your buyers three choices increases the likelihood of both a sale and a higher sales price.
A new on-line image editor for Flickr with more useful features. A source for consumer goods from China. Tool Logic for smart pocket tools that could make for excellent bundling inventory. Thinking about MySpace marketing..why not sell something the average MySpacer just can’t resist? Tea for two..or 100, a wholesale tea site with excellent selection and packaging.
