I have to disagree with some of your criticism about eBay guides and reviews. I’ve had a lot of customers tell me that they felt more comfortable making a purchase with me after reading my guides. In otherwords, they established my credentials as someone knowledgeable in the space I sell (watches). But unlike our Star Wars scribe, I repurpose what I write on eBay for my blog and vice versa. eBay gets non-exclusive rights. Nice thing about that is I get good Google rankings for the same material twice.
